brand under Simply Fancy Cuisine (SFC). SFC is an Award Winning, homemade gourmet, sweet & savory Farm to Table Patisserie located in the Inland Empire community of Redlands,
I am Angela Brooks-Van Niel, the Culinary Artist behind SFC. Although, I have a Masters
degree it is not in the culinary arts. I have no Cordon Bleu or AI degrees or certifications. But, what I do have is a lifetime of training from: my southern Grandmother (RIP, Mamie), my Kosher
friends, and my Neapolitan & Sicilian neighbors. I have taken what I've learned and coupled that with my own unique & creative palate to create great fare.
SFC is a cottage industry, meaning I'm licensed and inspected so I can cook out of my home kitchen. SFC can handle
your small intimate get togethers to Galas hosting 500+. In the near future SFC, will have a brick and mortar location to better serve our clients.
But until then...You can find us at the Downtown Redlands' Sat. morning Farmers Market on the corner of Redlands Blvd.

SFC takes centerstage at City of Redlands' Brunch & Broadway Event

Brunch and Broadway participants Saturday morning had a plate full of farm to table food and sang along to favorite show tunes.
Gables House was full of people having quiches, muffins, mac n’ cheese and locally grown fruit shish-kebab style. Chef Angela Brooks-Van Niel said she uses the best ingredients. There was also fresh
juice and smoothies.
Broadway was made possible by a grant from the USDA’s Farmers’ Market Promotion Program to introduce locally grown produce to seniors and families and a grant provided by the James Irvine Foundation
to the Redlands Bowl. The goal of the grants is to enhance awareness of Redlands’ farmers’ markets and to make locally grown produce more accessible and to promote the arts in the
said locally grown food has more nutrition, no preservatives, is affordable, gives you an opportunity to socialize with the friends and helps stimulate the economy.
Cuisine purchased freshly grown produce from the downtown Saturday Farmers’ Market and Market Night to prepare brunch spinach-and-kale quiche, fruit salads, fresh juices and roasted
in Redlands are Saturday mornings in downtown, Saturday mornings at The Grove School and Thursday evenings in Downtown Redlands.
Broadway was part of the June in Jumpin’ series put on by the city of Redlands.
SFC can be found at the Sat. Market, but is always available for your private events & venue. Check our online store for more information.

fund raising event.
